Bio:
Nathan Acott is the Scientist in-charge of Immunohistochemistry at the Anatomical Pathology Department, of PathWest, the pathology arm of the Western Australian Government’s Department of Health. He is a 1994 graduate of Curtin University of Technology, completing the Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) degree. He has been a Medical Scientist in Histopathology for over twenty years, working both in private and public pathology. Nathan is responsible for IHC across all four of PathWest Anatomical Pathology’s sites, providing technical advice on clinical and research IHC assays to scientific and clinical staff from PathWest as well as non-PathWest laboratories, individual researchers and research groups. Nathan is a committee member of the Australasian Immunohistochemistry Society, the Western Australian Histology group and the RCPAQAP IHC assessment committee.
