Bio:
Bronwyn Christiansen has worked at a number of private and public pathology organisations within
Victoria and is the Principal Scientist in Anatomical Pathology at the Royal Children’s Hospital in
Parkville. She completed her AIMS Fellowship in 2018 and has presented at a number of national
histology conferences. She enjoys showing patients, students and other staff the wonders of
histology and seeing the “light bulb” moments when they realise the massive human involvement in
getting correct diagnoses for patients. She is a proud Histologist and very happy to let everyone
know there is more to pathology than just blood.
