Bio:
Originally from Liverpool UK, Hazel has lived in Australia for over 10 years. She is a Medical scientist at the Royal Children’s hospital Melbourne where she has a special interest in IHC. Hazel completed her undergraduate degree in the UK and since moving to Australia has completed her MSc. She is currently undertaking the AIMS Fellowship program in Anatomical Pathology. Hazel has an interest in teaching and training and each year attends the RCPA APLS course in Ballarat demonstrating practical skills in Histology. In 2019 Hazel travelled to Columbo, Sri Lanka to provide numerous lectures on the basic technical aspects of IHC. She is also an IHC technical assessor for RCPAQAP.
