Become a member

As an Australasian Immunohistochemistry Society member you can benefit from:

  • discounted educational programs including special registration rates at AIS meetings
  • opportunities to present posters and lectures at national and international meetings
  • access to online educational tools and journals
  • paid members are eligible to publish their research in Vascular Cell (www.vascularcell.com; IF=3.88 ) for a special publication fee (less 30% than the usual publication fee rate)
  • networking opportunities with experts in the field
  • educational and informative newsletters

Starting from 2017, in order to support our efforts at the AIS and provide better content to you, we have decided to introduce an annual $50 AUD membership fee.

  • All existing society members will have their membership extended for free until 30th of July 2018, after which they may pay this fee to continue being a member of the AIS.
  • All new members, after their membership is approved may pay for the membership for the current year using their registered email as identification on the Membership Subscription page.
  • In case you membership data changed, you can reapply for membership and we will update your information.

 

Eligibility criteria for Australasian Immunohistochemistry Society membership

The Austrasian Immunohistochemistry Society Inc is a non-profit scientific organization which aims to maintain, improve, advance and promote diagnostic and research into immunohistochemistry.

In addition our Society aims to provide its members with technical support and training.
Membership is open for the following professional categories:

a. Scientists and Technicians
b. Pathologists
c. Students and Trainees
d. Associates

The membership will be granted to any professional with interest in immunohistochemistry practising or training anywhere in the world.

A potential member must be in good standing. Copies of the professional qualifications/diplomas must be provided online in the membership application form. For trainees or students a document attesting their enrolment in a training program is acceptable.

There are no annual fees. However the members must renew their free membership every two years.
A renewal form will be sent via email to all members.
