Bio:
John Garratt is the Scheme Manager for the Canadian Immunohistochemistry Quality Control organization (cIQc) based at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and is a
senior consultant for the International Quality Network for Pathology headquartered in Luxembourg. John is actively involved in the development and maintenance of standards in
surgical pathology and diagnostic cytology with the Diagnostic Accreditation Program of British Columbia. Until 2015 John was the technical specialist for Anatomic Pathology at
Vancouver Coastal Health which processes around 100,000 surgical, cytology and autopsy cases a year.
